Life-Changing Experience

Attending the Mountain Retreat at the Kadampa World Peace Temple Grand Canyon and being guided through all 6 weeks or even 1 week with Gen-la Jampa who granted the HYT empowerment this summer will be a life-changing experience.

We recommend everyone who can attend in person should try to attend in person. Given the continuing unusual circumstances this year, we will also offer all 6 weeks of this retreat via live stream to those who are not able to attend in person.

Streaming Information

Online attendees will be allowed 1 week following the last session to view the retreat.

There will also be an online portal to submit questions, watch helpful videos, and more.

Who Can Attend via Live-stream

Due to travel restrictions and the uncertainty around the pandemic at this time, we understand that not everyone can attend in-person at the Temple. Our requirement for attending the live-stream retreats is that, though you are not able to, you had the intention to attend the retreat in-person.

Attending The Retreat in the Temple

Those attending the retreat for any period of time will be required to have either a negative COVID test before arrival or be fully vaccinated.

Masks will be required at all times while onsite.

Accomidations & Upgrades

We have upgraded some of our rooms with radiator heating!

Rooms must be booked from Friday to Thursday for weekly stays.

We have a new cafe just next to our gift shop that will be open between sessions serving hot drinks and plenty of locally scoursed goodies!
