Accommodations & Meals
IKRC Grand Canyon offers standard and superior room accommodations and home-cooked vegetarian meals at reasonable rates. The staff are mostly volunteers committed to providing service to the public to exemplify their Buddhist faith.
Staying at the Center
On-site accommodation is available for those attending courses and retreats. Rooms are subject to availability. Note that there is no television or phone in the rooms.
Registering for a Double Room
Please designate one person to book the room. Please list all roommates on your booking form.

Single Room
$105 per room
One Person in a king-size bed or double bed with ensuite bathroom
Double Occupancy Room
$125 per room
These are not booked separately. Please book a double room with 2 beds and request 1 king bed in the special requests area of the booking form. Includes ensuite bathroom.
Dormitory
$30 per person
Up to eight people per room in bunk beds. Sheets and pillows are provided, but guests must supply their own towels, and a blanket or sleeping bag. Guests can purchase a linen pack for $5 per person. This includes a down comforter and a towel. The dorm has one ensuite bathroom.
Semi-Private Room
$70 per person
Includes two double beds, and an ensuite bathroom. We assign you a roommate.
Shared Room
$50 per person
Three to four people per room.
May include a bunk bed and roommates are assigned. Ensuite bathroom.
Camping (seasonal)
$20 per person
Guests are responsible for bringing their own camping gear (tent sleeping bag etc). There is a reserved space for camping showers and toilets.
Camping depends on seansonal weather, meaning: no snow and nightly lows above 40 degrees Fahrenheit .
Weather
This is Northern Arizona! On average, there are 266 sunny days per year. The July high is around 84 degrees. The January low is 20. The average yearly snowfall is 70 inches. Check the weather and pack accordingly.
Reception
Please plan to arrive Friday during office hours (9:00am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-6:30pm) whenever possible. Reception is located in the lobby, to the right of the parking lot as you approach the building.

All rates include a vegetarian, continental-style breakfast.

Additional community meals are available for purchase when registering. Light snacks are available in the World Peace Café during courses and events.

Discounts are available for long-term stays. Please inquire when booking.

Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out is 11am.
Registration
Registration for courses and/or on-site accommodations can be made on the course page. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your registration. The balance is due upon arrival.

Special Needs
Facilities and a limited number of rooms for disabled guests are available. Please inquire for details. If you have any mobility issues or special needs, please tell us AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Meals
Accommodation bookings include breakfast.
Lunch and Dinner are $5 each and can be added to your cart at the time of registration. Our meals are vegetarian and may include gluten, eggs and dairy products. We usually have gluten-free and dairy-free options. We regret we cannot cater for specific dietary requirements. However, please notify us if you suffer from a severe allergy (e.g. nut allergy).
