Saturday March 19th  - 26th

By sincerely promising to seek protection in Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha (the Three Jewels,)   we can form a strong foundation for our spiritual practice, accumulate a vast amount of good fortune, and quickly make progress along the internal paths that lead to permanent inner peace and freedom from suffering.

On Friday evening- we will have an opportunity to learn the practice of going for refuge, which is at the very heart of the Buddhist way of life. This teaching is open to anyone interested in Buddhism, and perfect preparation for those wishing to take the Refuge Vow.

On Saturday morning -a Refuge Vow Ceremony will be offered for those who wish to take Refuge Vow and formally become a Buddhist. You are welcomed to bring a vegetarian food offering as part of this beautiful ritual ceremony.

Saturday afternoon -  Gen-la Jampa will explain how to engage in a qualified meditation retreat on the Buddhist practice of going for refuge.

Sunday through Thursday- we will engage in a retreat led by Gen-la Jampa, that is open to everyone. The first session of each day will be guided, with remaining sessions self-guided.
