The Most Meaningful Life: Becoming a Friend to the World

Thursday, May 24th -  Monday, May 28th

A Bodhisattva is a true friend of the world, a person motivated by great compassion who has developed bodhichitta, a spontaneous wish to attain enlightenment for the sake of all living beings. This retreat will offer a special opportunity be immersed in the joyful meditations on love, compassion, and the six perfections that lead to this most meaningful life.

Over the course of the weekend, you will be guided in simple meditation techniques to create and maintain a special experience of inner peace.  This away retreat is suitable for beginners and advanced meditators alike. Everyone is welcome!

“Nowadays, with the world in turmoil, there is a particular need for Westerners to cultivate bodhichitta. If we are to make it through these perilous times, true Bodhisattvas must appear in the West as well as in the East.”
